At halftime, the opposition is in much the same bad shape as Fidesz. None of the opposition parties has seen major progress in terms of its popular support, and there is no clear alternative majority emerging. While two years is plenty of time, none of the opposition parties have made an impression that would suggest they could lead a coalition against a Fidesz, much less that they could replace the governing party on their own.
